Arrive in Delhi and be met by TurtleTrails at the airport. Drive through the busy streets and bazaars to reach your hotel. Evening drive and sightseeing in Delhi.

Early morning transfer to the airport for flight to Leh, to begin our awaited Ladakh motorcycle tour. On arrival check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing and acclimatising to the high altitude. Visit the Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace if health permits. Overnight in Leh.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and prepare for a test ride on your motocycle. We take a short ride to get accustomed to the bike and to learn some of the rules of riding in the Indian mountains. Late afternoon return to Leh and overnight in Leh.

An early departure this morning for a stunning ride on the National Highway 1 towards Shargol. En route we stop at the Likir Monastery and continue through some backroads into the village of Hemis Shukpachan. Riding farther we reach Lamayuru also called the Land of the Broken Moon. And finally to our overnight halt in Kargil.

Possibly the highlight of the whole ride, todays ride is not for the faint hearted. 150kms of beautiful mountain off roading to arrive into Zanskar Valley. Overnight at the village Padum.

An easy day today after yesterdays tough offroading. We will visit the last village in zanskar valley, Zangla and if lucky be invited for tea by the local royal family. All in all a fun day with moderate offroading of 40 kms.

The return journey will probably seem much easier and allow you to enjoy the vistas on offer today. Our stop for the night will be at a deluxe tent in Shargol. Enjoy this picturesque village.

Nice clean and straight roads lead to Leh. We are halfway through our Ladakh motorcycle tour. Making ample stops for snacks, tea and lots of photography through the ride today we reach Leh. Overnight in Leh.

What might seem like another free day could turn into quite an exciting touristy day. Enjoy short rides to the Stok Palace, Matho Monastery and enjoy lunch at a hotel overlooking River Indus. A wonderful day to explore Leh town and its bazaars. Overnight in Leh.

Prepare yourself for a ride crossing one of the highest motorable passes in the world into Nubra Valley, which lies north of Leh. En route Hunder we visit the moasntery at Diskit. Evening visit to the sand dunes at Hunder and perhaps if your conscience allows, try a camel ride on one of the double hump bacterian camels. Overnight in Hunder.

Our party rides towards Turtuk this morning. Turtuk is a part of the Balti belt and is home to some of the sweetest and friendliest people on this planet. The ride is smooth and picturesque today and leaves you completely satisfied. Return to Hunder by evening and overnight in Hunder.

Return to Leh via a different route. Overnight in Leh

Lunch at a beautiful old Ladakhi House that has been turned into a boutique homestay now. If mood permits we ride on for little bit longer towards Chilling or return to Leh. It is an open day today. Overnight in Leh.

Early morning transfer to the airport for flight to Delhi marks the end of Ladakh motorcycle tour. Transfer to IGI as per flight times. End of the trip.
