We depart in a private vehicle early morning. A few hours into the journey we reach the city of Agra where the Taj Mahal sits like crown. After a scrumptious brunch in Agra, proceed towards Gwalior. A visit to the Gwalior fort by evening and your tour leader will help you get oriented with your motorbikes and brief you about riding on Indian roads.

Today’s ride is the start of a wonderful trip through the heart of rural India. The ride is fairly smooth with very short patches of unmade roads. We cross an old temple in the middle of a small forest.
The Orchha Fort complex is a 16th Century construction which houses ancient monuments consisting of the fort, palaces, temple and other edifices.

You will get a chance today to try your hand at some light off-roading through absolute sub rural villages. In the evening at Khajuraho, we visit the Western Group of temples for the Archaeological Survey of India organised Sound and Light Show.

A guided tour of ancient temples of Khajuraho, these beautiful structures built by artists a thousand years ago. These rock cut temples depict more than just erotica. They are the embodiments of sacrifice, devotion and beauty. Early afternoon depart for Panna and check in to a resort. If authorities permit then we take a special safari in the night.

Early morning optional safari in the Tiger Reserve. The reserve is home to the tiger, leopard, chital, chinkara, nilgai, sambhar and sloth bear. After breakfast proceed towards Satna. Riding through some of the best rural scenery and great roads we arrive Satna. In the evening we visit a local art community for a beverage which has some beautiful sculptures.

We ride towards Allahabad today through small towns and open fields and reach a small little village on the border of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh with two rivers running by it. The mighty river Tamasa divides the two states at this village. We experience local village life, overnight at a restored heritage village retreat well known for its history and bird watching.

Early morning walk at sunrise and then a short boat ride for some fishing. After breakfast depart for Varanasi. Staying off the beaten track we cross the river ganges either through a steamer or a temporary bridge. Last 50 kms of highway and we reach the holy city of Varanasi.

Bidding goodbye to our motorcycles we visit holy hindu and bhuddist sites around Varanasi. Sarnath is where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma. Late afternoon visit to the medieval temple of Kashi Vishwanath. Evening arati by the Ganges from a boat, it gives a unique vantage point to experience the city.

Fly back to Delhi. Chance for sightseeing in the capital
